i think it’s not ‘as much’ testosterone?,they are out there but – promotional companies don’t know how to market them to men-the main ‘consumer’ of the “sport”.
Traditionally people often say they don’t like to see a woman in danger,but a man can do what he likes.
“Men are the risk takers, Women should be looked after”,i do not agree with this at all,but it seems stamped on a lot of influential peoples mind.
I had an Ambulance “Manned or Womaned” by two ladies, they were great and kept me concious whilst an ulcer was ‘bleeding out’ some time back.
Men would have not comforted me as much,but they would a Woman.
Both sexes can do interchangeable jobs,it’s when convention and stereotyping comes in along with
this- it affects the way in which people regardless of ability are discriminated against because of gender
They are doing soooooooooo well in CART.
Danica was a fluke fuel gamble win and needs to be backed up with a competitive win to change my (and most other people’s) opinion on that topic.
Women in general suck at motorsports and team owners know it and steer clear of female drivers unless they want a gimick to draw attention to a struggling team or try a driver with some success at a lower level.
Female driver wins in other top series…..

There are occasionally, female drivers, but the male dominated sport is biased against women. The attitudes of the chauvinistic teams is a real killer, and those that do get as far as major competition are soon overwhelmed and sunk without trace…
I hear so much about Formula One lately. is it something big? i’m getting so interested in it that i think i might start watching it cos everyone around me keep talking about it these days

It may be a physical strength issue. The drivers in F1 go through some extreme G-forces, especially on their necks
I’ve seen a few lady race drivers in various other series. None have done especially well. ot sure why, maybe their too safe

size for size, probably not strong enough,
or maybe the hips wouldn’t go in the cockpit,
give Grey Mare a few laps in her track’or, its got warp-drive
i think there used to be a female formula one driver, but i gues us females are not interested enough any more

You don’t have less crashes they are just sillier slower speed ones that don’t register on the stats.
It’s to do with the time off the month, they don’t want women going around at that speeds while hormonal
