    Because it’s not NASCAR.

uhmmm…it’s people driving quickly away from and then back to the point from which they started…for HOURS! I’ve got a yard full of grass to watch grow when I need to escape from any and all thought.

formula one races aren’t boring they’re a lot better than nascar where you race around a stupid oval track for something like 200 laps.

  4. Paul S says:

In short, it’s not boring. The real question would be why do you, or other people find it boring while others find it exciting. If you look across the world of sport there are many things where you find a similar divide with one side declaring their love and enjoyment from viewing, while others are left scratching their heads (because the scratching is more exciting). In the end though, the activities are what they are, and the boredom or excitement from watching is far more about the viewer than the activity.

So, you find F1 boring? Why? Either because you don’t perceive or understand the subtext of what is going on – that aspect of the game within the game that is similar to a pitcher’s duel in baseball. Or you do get it and it just doesn’t interest you.

No passing, team orders and that some driver name Juan Montoya moved over to NASCAR!

  6. Bright says:

Anyone who gets bored of something is either because you don’t know a bit or don’t understand what is really going on.
Inform yourself, read, search the web for different F-1 sites or even better, go to one F-1 race, then come back and ask a more concrete question.
Nascar, IRL and Champcar are more show oriented. A yellow flag and all your gap goes down the drain. F-1 is more technology and strategy oriented.
Check the TV ratings you NASCAR fans, why it is that F-1 TV audience is in 3rd place just behind the Olympic Games and the World Soccer Cup? Just because people like the ads?
It would be wiser to say they are different categories of the same sport for different kind of people, one bound to be an all-American series and the other to be a global competition. Either series demand a great amount of skill, we just have to learn how to cope with each other and at Sunday afternoon, say “hey, what a great race!”.

because you d’ont know anything about races. Hey your not playing bowling tonight. Oh i’m sorry bowling is to fast for you.

  8. brian_1_2002 says:

Becasue someone from the south cant understand the concept of making left and RIGHT turns, plus the cars average speeds are in the low 100 mph range, not 150+

  9. aorton27 says:

Aerodynamics! Wings are not and can not be designed to work in turbulent air as they lose ability to produce lift/downforce. The racing formula in F1, Champcar, Indy, ect are sick and not condusive to good racing.

There is only one answer and that is it.

  10. sai2020 says:

coz somone like u cant understand what f1 cars and races are.

  11. MACK says:

BECAUSE THERE ARE ONE LAP IS REAPET IT A 50 OR 60 TIME .
AND THE WAY IS ALSO NOT GOOD .

  12. AIRzig says:

    Why ARE thye boring?
The answer is: they are not… simply! I personaly like formula 1 much more than oval races.

  13. BufSabres'07 says:

It’s not NASCAR. What do you expect. A bunch of Jean Girard’s making way too many turns, and all the cars are half a mile away from each other. No fun.

  14. Mister Man says:

well, it is boring for closed minded people who cannot see further than their noses. if all the strategizing, the rivalries, the technology don’t fascinate, then stick to dizzy NASCAR

  15. Croco says:

I don’t think I can answer that one for ya, mate. You’ll have to figure it out for yourself.

I’m not into F1 because there isn’t enough competition. I like seeing guys going down to the final laps charging hard and only being separated by a couple carlengths or a guy holding off the pack and taking the checkers by a second. More often than not, the winner of an F1 race wins by ten seconds or more and/or leads the entire race from green to checkers. What’s exciting about that.

And to answer that question…if it’s not drag or rally racing, then you’re just driving in a circle no matter what. Just because your circle is not perfectly round doesn’t mean it’s not a circle.

  16. MUD WRANGLER says:

ITS NOT THE RACING ITS BOB VARSHA AND DAVID HOBBS NEED SOME VIVARIN

  17. royal says:

    BECAUSE THERE IS NO SCHUMACHER.

  18. Nani says:

    only smart people can understand F1 ! ! !

  19. Kaya says:

Stupid ppl think that f1 is stupid!
