Hotels can be found in the nearby towns of Towcester, Buckingham or Northampton, along with many Bed & Breakfasts in the surrounding areas. Another cheap and convenient option is to camp in the grounds surrounding Silverstone and the Force India factory, which lies opposite the main gates.
You will not get a hotel anywhere near now. Best thing it to camp at one of the sites around the circuit. Try Whittlebury Park, Towcester, (google it for the number, sorry, I don’t have it to hand). They are around £150.00 for a plot for the duration. You can arrive from the Tuesday before onwards and can stay until the Monday after the race for that price. You get a decent size plot, and they have good live band’s etc on the Friday & Sat evenings. It only takes 10 mins to walk into the circuit form this site. ENJOY !
Sorry, don’t know about the train nearest to Towcester, try Railtrack’s journey planner online, when you put in Towcester as the destination, it will give you the nearest option.
