Can anyone tell me the formula to use for this. I’m totally stuck. Thank you in advance.

  1. Pelea says:

    15/41 3/41 multiplied by 5

  2. greyhair says:

The probability of ‘at least’ questions is best done by considering 1 minus the opposite of the event being asked for.
So the probability of at least one crash is answered by considering 1 minus no crash
otherwise there are too many possibilities to remember to include
    P(crash) = 3/41 P(no crash) = 38/41
P(at least one crash in five races) = 1 – P(no crash in five races)
    = 1 – 38/41×38/41×38/41×38/41×38/41
    =1 – (38/41)^5
    I hope this helps

    Q: Calculate the probability?
A: Probability of what? You being an idiot because you can’t copy the complete question into Y! answers? Then it would be 100%
