Amazing “behind-the-scenes” video……it’s just now I realized what a great achievement this was basically starting with blank sheets and being on the grid 5 months later. Gascoyne has always been a force in F1 design, and now that important and vital building blocks are coming together with the Renault engine and Red Bull drive train and the design team being able to create a much tighter chassis around this I think Team Lotus could be the dark horse of 2011 season. Keep up the good work!

Was great to be at the Classtic Team Lotus festival and meeting the guys and seeing the amount of people who were happy to have the Lotus name back. Now it’s Team Lotus and as a Norfolk boy, I couldn’t be happier with the future of the team.

@rapljwop Actually, I think 7th is a more realistic target. We have Renault, RedBull, McLaren, Ferrari and Mercedes who are all going to be in the top 5, one way or another, and then you have to consider Force India which are very effective in what they do, Williams, which are Williams, and probably Sauber too, because they can do it. As said in the video, the objective should be to race with the midfield, and if Team Lotus scores points on merit next year, then it’ll be awesome.
Hoping for Team Lotus to achieve points and podiums in 2011! Come on Jarno and Hekki!!! Target should be 6th in the Constructor’s Championship minimum!!!

I raced for you guys in my first season of F1. I still have fond memories and took my first win at Spa due the teams hard work and commitment.
